Cookie policy

The short version
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful - but only if you say yes. Until you accept on our cookie banner, no analytics code loads and no analytics cookies are set. We don't use advertising cookies.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names begin with _ga. They help us count visits, see which pages are read and get a rough idea of visitors' location. Google provides this service for us; the information is reported to us in aggregate and isn't used to identify you. These cookies usually last up to two years.
Remembering your choice
Your answer to the cookie banner is saved in your browser's local storage (under lh-cookie-consent) so we don't ask on every page. It isn't sent to us.
Strictly necessary storage
Our hosting and security providers may use technical cookies or similar storage to deliver pages securely and protect the site from abuse. These don't identify you and the law doesn't require consent for them.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time. This clears your saved answer and shows the banner again.
